Greater New Genesis Christian Center (New Genesis or New G.) was born opened its doors on May 3rd 2003 under the Pasturage of Pastor Louise Braziel.

Mission

Our mission here at Greater New Genesis Christian Center is to follow the instructions of Jesus and "win a world for Christ." This is accomplished on three levels:

  • Winning souls to the Kingdom: by witnessing and sharing the good news of the gospel.
  • Equipping souls in the body of Christ: through ongoing teaching, preaching and training of the saints, on how to rightly divide the word of truth and applying the word daily to their lives.
  • Taking Praise to Another Level and Dimension: Singing, dancing, clapping our hands and expressing our Adoration, Love and Thanksgiving to God!

Description

After much prayer and seeking the face of God, the vision of God calling a people forth to go into the world and reach the lost was given to our Pastor and so the work begun.

New Genesis Church started in Pastor Braziel's family room with just four members on the role having prayer meeting and bible class once a week. When the membership began to grow, God instructed Pastor Braziel to seek out a building for the ministry.

We began having services in the Seven Day Adventist Church on Sunday afternoons and later moved to Hackberry Street where we shared a building with another church. On April 3, 2005 we moved to our own facility located in China Grove, TX.

During our season in China Grove, God elevated Pastor Braziel into the office of apostleship. From this promotion was birthed Divine Destiny International. Currently, there are six active ministries under this umbrella with several others seeking God's direction to join the fellowship. God allowed us to remain in China Grove for two years, and as He added to the church daily, such as should be save; we had to move to the location of 542 WW White Rd in April 2007 in order to have room for the growth He has blessed us with. The time for expansion came to us again, and as of January 16 2012 our church home is located at 110 Hanna St in San Antonio.

Today, we the members are excited about what God has done and is doing in us and through us! We celebrate today because God is doing a new thing and we are claiming all that he has for us as the Greater New Genesis Christian Center.
